Belmar Window Shop was established in 1975 by Robert Beaudoin. Robert saw the areas’ need for a custom window treatment source, and started making window shades out of his garage in Belmar. As business grew, he moved the business to the present Main Street location, where he asked his family to join with him to operate the business.

Specializing in custom made blinds, shades, draperies and shutters, the growing market for plantation shutters resulted in the expansion of the business. In 1995, Belmar Window Shop began manufacturing plantation shutters and moved the production of the shutters to the neighboring town of Avon-by-the-Sea. We are now New Jersey’s Thermalite and Hardwood shutter manufacturer.

In 2002, we became established as a Hunter Douglas Gallery dealer, specializing in the finest quality of custom window treatments and customer service in the industry.
